KARACHI (Dunya News) – After being banned in India, Pakistani filmmakers have started to sign the artists in their movies.

According to details, the artists have also showed interest to complete their pending projects in Pakistan.

Fawad Khan will now shoot for his movie ‘Albela Rahi’ which was pending for many months. The film story is based on legend singer Alamgir.

Mahira Khan has signed Shoaib Mansoor’s ‘Verna’ in the lead role. The film will be produced by Sultan Siddiqui and will release on Eid.

Mahira has said that she has accepted the role as a challenge for herself.

Besides this, Shakeel Siddiqui and Rauf Lala have decided to perform in stage drama whereas they have also been approached for a movie.

Meanwhile, singer Ali Zafar will now focus on his home-production whereas Javed Sheikh will shoot for his next release ‘Wajood’.

On the contrary some filmamkers have affirmed that they will not cast those Pakistani artists who went to Bollywood as they rejected their offers before and gave preference to working in India.

They said that they will favor those actors for their projects who did not go to Bollywood despite getting offers.
