Govt hasn't banned Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas: Sohail Khan

India has imposed ban on its own movies in which Pakistani actors performed, Khan said.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Filmmaker Sohail Khan said that the government has not banned display of Indian movies in Pakistani cinemas.

The film producer said that cinema owners have stopped screening of Indian movies temporary as Muharram-ul-Haram has arrived.

He also said that India has imposed ban on its own movies in which Pakistani actors performed.

He said ban on Indian movies in Pakistan was approved in Parliament after the war of 1965 however no amendment was done in this regard and Pakistani cinemas are still showing Indian contents in cinemas.

Sohail Khan said that if ban is being imposed on Bollywood movies in the current escalating tensions between both states then nothing bad will happen.
