It is now the height of summer in Argentina, and as the beat of the drums start up that means Carnival.Every night over summer 30,000 people pour into the riverside town of Gualeguaychu for the carnival masquerade parade, which is performed each weekend for more than two months.Organizers said that this year 70,000 feathers were used to make the costumes of the three competing dance troupes. Gualeguaychu Carnival will continue until March 9.
