Kajol, Ajay Devgn to clean up twin towns
Kajol and Ajay Devgn will participate in an environment awareness campaign in Khandala and Lonavla.
MUMBAI (Dunya News) - Veteran actress Tanuja, who spends a sizeable amount of time in Khandala and Lonavla, where she has family property, is using her time to raise awareness among the local people to try and save the environment.
Along with a local body that looks into the preservation of nature in these areas, Tanuja wants to ensure that this holiday destination doesn t get poached beyond limits and promote orderly and rational development there. Her aim is to preserve the place in all its beauty so it doubles up as a haven and offers a quality of life that is different from that in a crowded city.
This weekend, her daughter Kajol and son-in-law Ajay Devgn are going to travel to Lonavla to pitch in their efforts towards planting more trees, preservation of open spaces and saving the twin towns that were once the pride of Maharashtra.
