LAHORE (Dunya News) - A lady constable of Punjab police was dismissed from service for making TikTok and excessively using social media despite repeated warnings, Dunya News reported here on Saturday.

A notification for her dismissal was issued on Saturday. Constable Rubab Naz was reinstated in job recently.

According to sources, the lady constable despite warnings continued using social media in Korea and Pakistan. Taking action against her, DIG operations Tassawar Iqbal dismissed her from service.

She was sacked for one-year absence from duty. But DIG Operations Kamran Faisal on his application had reinstated her.

In her application, she had said she had gone to Korea for pursuing foreign education. On her request, she was reinstated in job.

It is noted several police personnel of Civil Lines police are using social media despite a ban on using social media during duty.
