LAHORE (Dunya News) – A robber was killed in an ‘encounter’ with police in Chuhng area whereas his two accomplices managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
Police claimed that the alleged robber was killed in the firing of his own accomplices.
Police on suspicion signalled three people riding a bike to stop for their identification at a barrier, but they did not stop.
Police chased them. The robbers opened fire on the police party to avert the arrest. Law enforcers retaliated effectively and silenced their guns.
After the encounter, police searched the area and found a robber dead.
According to police, the robber was killed by the firing of his accomplices. Initial investigation suggested that the robber was wanted in many cases of robbery, extortion and abduction.
