KARACHI (Dunya News) – An alleged burglar was injured and arrested after an encounter with police in Nathakhan area here, Dunya News reported.
Police were informed that a robber was looting valuables and cash from walkers on a road.
On receiving information, police rushed to the scene. On seeing the law enforcers, the robber started firing.
Police retaliated in an effective manner and arrested the robber after being injured in the shootout.
Police seized a stolen car, valuables and weapons from the injured robber, who is stated to be a history-sheeter and wanted in many cases of robberies.
Police are collecting forensic evidence to launch a thorough probe into matter.
The injured robber was shifted to hospital. A case has been registered against him.
