Police are trying to ascertain the cause of the murder
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – A woman was shot dead by her son’s friend in Alipur area of Shahzad Town here on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
Nausheen Khalid was home alone when alleged killer Ali entered her house, and after a brief altercation he shot and injured the woman and fled, police said.
The woman was rushed to hospital where she could not succumb to her injuries.
Preliminary investigation into the matter suggested that the killer was the friend of the son of the woman.
Police have registered a case after recording statements from the family members of the deceased woman.
Police are probing on different angles to reach out the murderer.
