Prisoner 'raped', murdered by inmates in Adiala jail

A case was registered against four prisoners
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A prisoner was raped and murdered by other inmates in Adiala jail.
On the complaint of the jail authorities, the Saddar Bairuni police registered a case against four inmates and started investigation.
The prisoners who are involved in the rape and murder of their fellow inmate are said to be influential. The policemen deputed on the jail premises failed to rescue the prisoner and the incident exposed inadequate jail security.
After the incident, the authorities have stepped up the jail security and every prisoner is being checked to avert such incident in future.
The body was shifted to hospital for autopsy.
