LAHORE (Dunya News) - A police inspector succumbed to his wounds at Lahore General Hosptal on Sunday a couple of days after getting criticaly injured in a crossfire with his rivals in Kasur.
The firing incident took place in the border area of Kasir, Mandi Usman Wala. Inspector Tariq Bashir Cheema and his gunmen exchanged fire with his rivals following a property dispute. Three rivals were killed while Cheema also sustained bullet injuries.
Cheema was posted as Investigation In-charge at Lahore's Naseerabad police station. He also served as the station house office (SHO) in different police stations of Kasur district.
