LAHORE (Dunya News) - A team of NAB Lahore has arrested two culprits posing as officers.
Bilawal Haroon and Akmal were arrested on the complaint received in an open court.
NAB spokesperson divulged that the culprits used to loot innocent citizens by deceiving them through fake stamps of intelligence agencies, service cards, images, letter pads and visiting cards of government officers. Also, the embezzled cash was recovered from the suspects.
The culprits presented themselves as officers of agencies and looted citizens by offering them employment opportunities. After extorting significant sums of money, they would hurl life threats on the victims.
NAB has so far arrested 13 such culprits who will be handed over to police after necessary investigation and legal procedures.
The NAB spokesperson stated that the public was informed that in case of any complaint, they should contact NAB Lahore's intelligence wing or the spokesperson office numbers.
