Two dacoits bite the dust in encounter with CIA police

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two dacoits were killed in a CIA encounter in the provincial capital during the wee hours of Wednesday.
Two suspects, wanted for robbery and street crimes, were killed in a crossfire with the CIA Civil Lines. The killed suspects were identified as Naqeeb and Zeenat.
The CIA Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said that the suspects were under custody and were being brought to Abid Garden within the jurisdiction of Batapur police station for recoveries when their accomplices started firing at police party. Some shots struck police van as well.
As a result both the suspects were critically wounded and succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to a hospital for medical aid.
However, the attacker fled the scene using the advantage of dark. Both the suspects were involved in a recent bank robbery in a private bank at Barki road and were wanted to police.
