One robbery suspect killed, another injured in Lahore police encounter

The suspects in the police custody died due to firing by his own partners
LAHORE (Dunya News) – An alleged robber, who was under police custody, was killed, whereas another was injured in an alleged encounter in the provincial capital on early Sunday.
According to police, both the suspects were being transported for identifications and recoveries when the accomplices opened fire on the Manga Mandi police. As a result one of the suspects died by the firing of his accomplices, whereas the other was injured.
The suspects were involved in a dacoity incident at a store cum house earlier this year.
The deceased suspect was identified as Shahid whereas the injured one was identified as Abrar. Police took the body along with the injured to a hospital. Police said a search operation would be conducted to arrest the fugitives.
