Father brutally tortures minor over trivial issue

SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – A man "inhumanely" tortured his minor son over petty issue in Sheikhupura on Saturday, police said.
The incident occurred in Rasool Town area under the jurisdiction of the Housing Colony police station where a father tortured his eight- year-old son for not helping in domestic chores. The man tied his son on the rooftop in scorching heat by chains in his neck.
The neighbour upon hearing the cries of the tied children reported the incident to the police. Police high ups ordered the force to recover the child immediately and hence the child was recovered along with the arrest of his father.
Police say no one is allowed to take law into his own hands and torture someone and that the suspect will be punished according to the injunctions of law.
