Three held after robbers kill child in Peshawar

PESHAWAR/ KASUR (Dunya News) – A child was killed during a crossfire between police and robbers in Peshawar on Saturday night.
Chamkni police were chasing some robbery suspects when they opened fire in retaliation. In an exchange of fire, a passerby child was killed. Police claimed the boy was killed by the firing of the suspects.
The police shifted the body to hospital and registered a case regarding the incident.
Kasur police claim to have arrested three members of a Bari dacoit gang and seized from them weapons, mobile phones, motorcycle and looted money.
The police said the suspects used to intercept and loot innocent citizens on Depalpur Link Road. The suspects confessed to committing 13 incidents of robbery during interrogation.
