Child died at Lahore's Children Hospital
LAHORE (Web Desk) – An infant girl on Thursday died of doctors’ negligence at the Children Hospital prompting parents to move against the hospital staff.
Reports said that six-month-old Khadija Mohsin was brought to the hospital for an MRI scan. Doctors gave her an anesthetic injection before the scan although her month had fed her. They also did not inform her parents to follow protocols before the scan. However, the child could not be brought back to consciousness.
Heirs warned to move the Health Department, Healthcare Commission, and Punjab government to demand justice and lodge a complaint against doctors with the commission.
The hospital administration did not respond to the query.
