Robbers target two houses, loot cash and valuables worth Rs9m
PAKPATTAN/LAHORE (Dunya News) – Robbers plundered cash, jewellery and other valuables approximately worth Rs9 million in two incidents on Monday, Dunya News reported.
In first incident, six robbers stormed into the house of landlord Malik Munawar at Chak no 111 EB in Pakpattan district, held all family members and servants at gunpoint and looted cash and jewellery worth Rs6 million.
The intruders subjected one of the hostages to torture on facing resistance. Robbers also kept asking Malik Munawar about the amount collected after the recent sale of his agri land. The suspects fled on their motorcycles. The injured person was shifted to a local hospital.
In second incident, four robbers barged into a farm house in Malkoki village of Heir, robbed the family of 10 tola gold ornaments, eight watches, two cell phones and some cash and then escaped. A police team rushed to the crime scene, recorded eyewitness account and launched detailed investigation.
