Cash supply firm employee absquatulates with INR13.7 million
AGRA (Web Desk) – An employee of a cash supply firm entrusted with the deposit of INR13.7 million in cash to a bank absquatulated with the money.
The Indian media reported that Vivek was also accompanied by four security guards to the bank, however, he did not return. When contacted, his mobile phone was found powered-off. Upon inquiry by the company’s manager from the bank, the company was informed that cash was not deposited with the bank. Later on, CCTV footage revealed that he had fled the bank with the cash.
The Agra police have started search operation.
