Two notorious Lyari gangsters captured
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A joint team of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and police arrested two most wanted terrorists who belonged to Lyari gang and recovered weapons and ammunition from their possession.
The raid was conducted in Lyari area on a tip-off that Shakeel Commando and Nadeem Naddu were present at a hide out. According to a police spokesperson, the arrested criminals were wanted in cases of murder, attempted murder, extortion and police encounters. The Sindh government had announced Rs1 million head money on Shakeel Commando.
The spokesperson further said Shakeel was part of Lyari gang war commander Abdur Rehman Baloch group and had murdered several members of rival Ghaffar Zikri group. He also remained the in-charge of a torture cell. He also used to dump weapons at different places in Karachi. Police said both the arrested accused had escaped during a grand operation in the past.
