Customs seizes 96 tolas of gold ornaments from two passengers

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Peshawar claimed on Tuesday to have seized nearly 96 tolas of gold jewellery from passengers arriving from Dubai at the Bacha Khan International Airport.

Customs officials checked the luggage of two passengers travelling via an international flight that landed from Dubai and recovered 96 tolas of gold ornaments from two passengers. The passengers have been identified as Matiullah and Noorain. They were residents of Peshawar.

The suspects were unable to provide any legal documents during the investigation. The suspects were arrested after taking the gold into custody under the 1969 Custom Act by the officials.
