Two injured robbers arrested after crossfire with police
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – The Faisalabad Police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested two injured robbers after an intense crossfire in Jaranwala Saddar.
A police team patrolling the area signalled two motorcyclists to stop for checking, but the suspects opened fire and fled. Policeman began chasing the motorcyclists. A crossfire took place between the two sides that left the motorcyclists injured. However, their accomplice managed to escape.
Police arrested the injured suspects and seized cash, cell phones and their motorcycle. The suspects identified as Imtiaz and Shahid were wanted by the Faisalabad police in number of heinous crime cases. They were admitted to a local hospital for necessary treatment.
