Faisalabad: Man tortured by police before being shot dead, reveals postmortem report
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - Postmortem report of the man murdered in Faisalabad due to police firing has revealed that he was allegedly tortured before being shot dead, Dunya News has obtained the report.
Man named Waqas was killed by the patrolling police in Faisalabad near Dijkot police station after failing to stop the car.
According to the postmortem report, the bullet went out of Waqas body after he was shot in the body. Signs of torture were also found on 6 different parts of the body including Waqas’ mouth and forehead.
After the incident police arrested four policemen involved in the incident.
The four police officials have been handed over to Dijkot police on Eight-day physical remand by the Anti-terrorism Court (ATC). The arrested policemen will be produced in the anti-terrorism court again on February 3.
