Lahore: Man arrested for leaving girl's body in hospital
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A man who left the body of a young girl in a private teaching hospital in Lahore has been arrested after CCTV of the incident emerged.
According to details, police arrested an accused Osama who fled after leaving girl’s body in the hospital after Dunya News published CCTV footage.
It can be seen in the CCTV footage that the accused Osama picked up Maryam and took her out of the car while his accomplice was driving the car. The accused left the body in the emergency room of the hospital and fled. Police have started investigation from accused Osama while search for another accused is on.
Postmortem of the body has been completed however report has yet to be issued.
According to police, 20-year-old Maryam, a resident of Gujarat, had come to Lahore to get her degree from Government College University, from where she went to a private medical university on Raiwind Road. Police have recorded the statements of hospital staff. According to the investigation police, the facts will come to light after the postmortem report.
