Man slits wife, 6-month-old daughter's throats after altercation
CHINIOT (Dunya News) - In an appalling turn of events a man slit the throat of his wife and 6-month-old daughter after an altercation with wife, in the area of City police station, said police.
According to details, a man named Ijaz killed his wife Nazia and 6-month-old daughter Haniya by slitting their throats with a sharp instrument. The accused managed to escape from spot after the incident.
Police arrived on the scene on a tip-off from neighbors. According to a police spokesman, accused Ijaz killed his 25-year-old wife and 6-month-old daughter over a domestic dispute.
City Police have taken the bodies of the mother and daughter into custody and shifted them to DHQ Hospital where an autopsy is being conducted.
The police have formed a special team to arrest accused Ijaz.
On the other hand, a nephew shot and killed his 45-year-old real uncle over a relationship dispute in a crowded market and escaped easily.
The incident took place in Tibba Sohail area of Chakbedi police station. The deceased has been identified as Muhammad Ali Bhatti.
According to SHO Chak Bedi Ashiq Abid, the body has been taken into custody and shifted to hospital for postmortem.
