Two robbers killed in police encounter on Tariq Road, one citizen was injured in crossfire
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Two robbers were on Sunday killed in a police encounter on Tariq Road. A citizen was also injured during the exchange of fire, reported Dunya News.
Heavy firing was exchanged on Tariq Road between police and robbers. According to Jamshed Town SP Tahir Noorani, two robbers were killed in the exchange while one passerby got injured by robbers’ firing in the crossfire.
On the other hand, a search operation was conducted by police in Marripur area. Five suspects including drug dealers were arrested in the operation. Drugs and weapons were found with the arrested suspects in large quantities.
The suspects were involved in over 100 street crimes. Both the arrested drug dealers were involved in the business for several years.
