Woman suffers serious burns as unknown assailants hurl acid
Doctors have said that the woman's 35% part of the body has been burnt by the acid.
BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – A 27 year old woman in Bahawalnagar suffered serious burns Saturday as unknown assailants riding on a motorcycle hurled acid at her. The woman has been shifted to District Hospital in critical condition.
The woman had arrived in Hafizabad village of Bahawalnagar for prayer. According to the police, two unknown youngsters riding a motorcycle stopped near her, attacked her with acid and then fled the scene. Doctors have said that the woman’s 35% part of the body has been burnt by the acid.
The woman works as a hostess in private bus company.
