Crime graph continued to rise in 2015, bike robbers made the best out of 2015 in Punjab's capital

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Murders and plundering remained rampant throughout 2015 in Punjab’s capital, Lahore, as the crime graph continued to rise. Bike robbers made the best out of the year with 637 snatching incidents and 12,353 robberies, reported Dunya News.

According to details, 350 people were murdered in 2015 in Lahore, out of which 50 were blind murders. 10 cases of kidnapping for ransom were registered while 28 citizens were gunned down for resisting the robberies. Similarly, 99 cases of banditry were registered in 2015.

A total of 83,371 cases were registered in 2015 in the provincial capital. 60,149 cases were moved to the courts. 8342 cases were cancelled while 3095 remained unresolved.
