Shahid Afridi announces Rs2 million in aid for flood-hit Bajaur

(Web Desk) - Former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team, Shahid Afridi, has made a special visit to Bajaur, announcing a relief aid of Rs 2 million for people affected by floods.
Despite stringent security arrangements, a large number of people gathered to catch a glimpse of their beloved cricketer. Afridi was warmly welcomed, and joy was evident on every face upon his arrival.
During the visit, Shahid Afridi inspected a relief camp set up at Government Commerce College, met with affected families, and listened to their concerns. On this occasion, he announced a donation of Rs2 million for the affected families, who expressed happiness and satisfaction at the gesture.

Shahid Afridi also promised to establish a vocational center for women of Bajaur to help them learn skills and improve their future prospects. He distributed school bags, books, and sports equipment among the affected children to support their education and healthy activities.
During his visit, Shahid Afridi also inaugurated the BS Computer Science Department at Government Commerce College Bajaur.
Speaking on the occasion, Afridi stated that the Shahid Afridi Foundation would continue to support those affected by the operation. He described Bajaur as a beautiful land with highly hospitable and talented people.
Afridi further noted that there are talented young cricketers in Bajaur, and he would personally strive to secure their admission into top academies across the country.
Shahid Afridi also took selfies with the children affected by the operation and distributed sports equipment among them.
