LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan will not participate in the opening ceremony of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.

According to sources, neither the Pakistan women’s team captain nor any representative will travel to India, meaning the country will have no representation at the ceremony.

Sources further revealed that Pakistan will not be part of any event or activity related to the Women’s World Cup.

The ICC has announced a grand opening ceremony in Guwahati on September 30, coinciding with the India–Sri Lanka match. Traditionally, captains of all participating teams attend a trophy photo session and press conference ahead of the tournament.
