Bangladesh recalls Ashraful for tests against Pakistan

Bangladesh recalled batsman Ashraful among four changes for two-test series against Pakistan.

Ashraful missed Bangladeshs 3-0 loss to Pakistan in the one-day international series but was selected following the failure of the middle order and his good form in the National Cricket League. He scored three half-centuries and a century for Dhaka Metropolis.Allrounder Mahmudullah, medium-pacer Robiul Islam and batsman Nazimuddin are the other new players from the test squad that played against West Indies in October and November. They replace opener Imrul Kayes and middle-order batsmen Raqibul Hasan and Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury.Mahmudullah played in the ODIs against Pakistan after having missed the test series against West Indies because of dengue fever.The first test against Pakistan begins Friday in Chittagong.Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), Mahmudullah, Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees, Mohammad Ashraful, Shakib Al Hasan, Naeem Islam, Nasir Hossain, Rubel Hossain, Nazmul Hossain, Elias Sunny, Shahadat Hossain, Sohrawardi Shuvo, Robiul Islam, Nazimuddin.
