FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Markhors on Wednesday thumped Dolphins by 92 runs by securing third consecutive win of the Champions One-Day Cup at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
In pursuit of 285 runs target, Dolphins were bowled out at 192 as Mohammad Rizwan’s side also displayed impressive performance in bowling section.
Asif Ali made fifty while Saud Shakeel dismissed for 41 and Sahibzada Farhan scored 24 while no other Dolphins’ batter could perform up to the mark.
Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Imran took three wickets each.
Batting first, Markhors’s opening was unimpressive as Bismillah Khan was removed for duck while Mohammad Faizan dismissed for one.
At this point, Kamran Ghulam showed magic with bat and slammed a century to boost the total. He was removed by Sameen Gul for 113.
Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha scored 51 and 49, respectively.
