MULTAN (Dunya News) – South Africa women's team beat Pakistan by 10 runs in the first T20 match.
Chasing a target of 133 at Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan fell short, scoring 122/5 in their 20 overs. The team lost 5 wickets for just 47 runs before Aliya Riaz and captain Fatima Sana steadied the innings with a solid partnership.
Despite their efforts, victory slipped away. Aliya remained unbeaten on 52, while Fatima added 37 not out.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Fatima Sana opted to field. South Africa put up 132/4, led by Tazmin Brits' 56 runs.
For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal claimed 3 wickets, while Nida Dar took 1.
