Yasir Shah declared innocent in alleged rape case
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistani Test cricketer Yasir Shah on Wednesday has been declared innocent in a case pertaining to alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl.
According to details, Islamabad police have removed the name of Yasir Shah from the first information report (FIR) after the victim retracted from her previous statement.
The supplementary report prepared by the Islamabad police stated the victim admitted that Yasir Shah’s name was included in the FIR due to misrepresentation.
It is to be mentioned here that a case was registered against the cricketer in December 2021 for his alleged involvement in aiding the rape of a 14-year-old girl.
