Gaddafi Stadium gears up to host World XI matches
Maintenance work in Lahore's Gaddafi stadium has come to an end, pitch and outfield also prepared
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Gaddafi Stadium Lahore is all set to host the much awaited World XI tour after its maintenance work came to an end on Saturday, reported Dunya News.
Apart from the maintenance inside the stadium, the surrounding roads also needed some maintenance. These roads were carpeted to provide a smooth drive to the stadium.
The curator and groundsmen have prepared the pitch and the outfield in the lead up to the three match T-20 series. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given final touches to all the preparations for the Independence Cup. The three T20 matches will be played on September 12, 13 and 15.
