Dav Whatmore becomes coach of Kerala team

KERALA (Dunya News) - Former Australian cricketer and renowned coach Dav Whatmore will coach Kerala team for 2017 to 2018 domestic season.
The 63-year-old coach said that training Kerala team would be a great challenge for him. He said that it will be a good experience to work with the team that has found it difficult to match expectations.
He felt that Kerala has a lot of talent which was needed to be channelized.
President of Kerala Cricket Association Vinod welcomed the coach and announced that his contract will be from September 2017 to March 2018.
It is to be mentioned here that Whatmore had also coached Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe teams.
