DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) Chairman Najam Sethi has paid tribute to all PSL lovers in United Arab Emirates (UAE) for making the league matches and playoffs of the tournament such a huge success.

Sethi was addressing spectators at Dubai International Cricket Stadium where Peshawar Zalmi qualified for the PSL final after brushing aside Karachi Kings by 24 runs in third playoff.

Najam Sethi said the interest of spectators in PSL was at its peak throughout, and this tournament would not have become such an immense triumph without the support of Pakistani nationals in UAE.

He also described his excitement on Twitter:

The enthusiasm of PSL chairman was worth watching at the moment and he boosted up the spirits of cricket lovers as well by chanting ‘everybody, let’s go to Lahore’. The slogan has been trending on social media afterwards.

Najam Sethi also let it be known that visas have been issued to 16 foreign players for PSL final. These cricketers are included in the league after Quetta Gladiators overseas players refused to play final in Lahore. These players belong to South Africa, Zimbabwe, England, Bangladesh, West Indies and Netherlands.

It is pertinent here to mention that Peshawar Zalmi’s full squad will be in action at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for PSL final. Their team includes foreign players in the form of skipper Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Dawid Malan, Chris Jordan and Samit Patel.
