DUBAI (Dunya News) - Peshawar Zalmi beat Lahore Qalandars by 17 runs in a crucial match of PSL 2017 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, reported Dunya News.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and opt to bat first in the new round of Pakistan Super League at Dubai, UAE.
Batting first, Peshawar Zalmi scored 166 for the loss of six wickets with Kamran Akmal 58* and Shakib Al Hasan 30* being the main contributors.
In reply, the Qalandars lost the script as they were chasing the target of 167 in the allotted overs as they the team managed to score 149 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
With this convincing win over Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar now soars to the second position on points table.
