PCB can appoint anyone as captain if it wants: Misbahul Haq
Misbahul Haq spoke to reporters in Faisalabad.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq on Wednesday stated that it is up to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to appoint anyone as captain of the national team.
Speaking to journalists in Faisalabad, Misbah remarked that many people are giving advices to the board members.

He further stated that cricket system should be corrected first instead of criticism.
"New captain will keep facing troubles if there is no development at the domestic level," he added.
The skipper further revealed that he will decide his future action after conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) event.
Misbah gave these remarks after the flurry of criticism that arose after Pakistan’s miserable tour of Australia in which the Aussies thrashed Pakistan in both Test and one-day international (ODI) series.

Australia whitewashed Pakistan in Tests by 3-0 and dominated the ODIs by 4-1. Afterwards, former cricketers and media bashed the poor performance of the team and suggestions to change captains were thrown.

PCB also gave statements to take strict action against players as well as the coaching staff.
