Hosts unable to chase in a low total as Kiwi bowlers dominated throughout the second innings

NAGPUR (Web Desk) - New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss in the crucial encounter against India, led by MS Dhoni, and opted to bat first in the 13th match of the ICC World T20 2016, reported Dunya News.

New Zealand scored 126 for 7 in the first innings. Indian bowlers kept things nice and tight as their bowling and fielding made life quite tough for the Kiwi batsmen. Anderson scored 37 runs for New Zealand wheras Ashwin, Nehra, Jadeja, Raina and Bumrah picked one wicket each

The Kiwis made an impressive start to the second innings as Nathan McCullum picked a wicket in the very first over of the second innings. Kiwi bowlers striked regularly and never let the Indian batsmen to settle at the crease. India were bowled out for 79 runs in 18.1 overs. New Zealand won the game by 47 runs. Santner was the star performer for New Zealand as he picked 4 wickets. Dhoni was the top scorer for India with 30 runs.
