Afridi requests PM to remove barriers holding new talent
I really appreciate our PM's support to uplift team performance by making the committee
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi has on Saturday appreciated Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Shareif’s help and support to evaluate the reasons for Pakistan’s defeat in Asia Cup. HE also requested PM to remove the barriers that were barring the new talent from emerging, reported Dunya News.
In a statement on Twitter, Shahid Afridi said that he really appreciated PM’s support to uplift the performance of the team by making a committee that would evaluate the defeat that the national team suffered in Asia Cup.

Shahid Afridi also requested PM Nawaz to look into the barriers which were preventing the talent from the grass roots level to rise and prove their mark.
