Rain and snowfall lash Islamabad, other cities as cold intensifies

According to the PMD, the spell of rain and snowfall is likely to continue for the next 24 hours.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): Rain lashed Islamabad and several other cities, bringing a drop in temperatures and making the weather pleasant in the federal capital.
Abbottabad, Haripur and adjoining areas received rainfall accompanied by strong winds, further intensifying the cold. In Kundian and surrounding areas, intermittent rain continued, causing water to accumulate in low-lying localities.
Meanwhile, snowfall was reported in Nathia Gali, Thandiani and other upper regions, while cold winds persisted across these areas.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the spell of rain and snowfall is likely to continue for the next 24 hours.
