KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday said that people have rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) February 8 wheel-jam and shutter-down strikes.

Murad Ali Shah said that PTI’s strike call miserably failed, adding that no protests were seen anywhere in the country.

Talking to the media, Sindh Chief Minister said that prices tend to rise during Ramazan and that the government is keeping a close watch on them. He added that wheat and flour prices have been kept under control, and efforts are being made to learn from past mistakes.

Murad Ali Shah further stated that satisfactory arrangements were made for the Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA). Around three million devotees visited over three days, and there is a need to further improve the arrangements.
