Kiwi Elliott signs for Leicestershire
Elliott is Leicestershire's second overseas signing for 2015 following Australian fast bowler Clint.
LONDON (AFP) - Leicestershire have acquired the services of experienced New Zealand all-rounder Grant Elliott for this year s domestic T20 Blast competition, the English county announced on Thursday.
Elliott, 35, has agreed an initial 10-match deal, but may be available for longer, depending on whether he is selected by the Black Caps for their tour of England.
"I m really excited to be a Fox this season and make some valuable contributions with both bat and ball," said Elliott, who is currently competing for New Zealand at the World Cup.
"Leicestershire will have a new look for 2015 and I m ready to play my part."
Elliott is Leicestershire s second overseas signing for 2015, following Australian fast bowler Clint McKay, who is set to play in all formats of the game.
