Pakistan, Zimbabwe first ODI today

The first ODI of the three-match series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played today.
HARARE (Agencies) - After winning the Twenty20 series 2-0, Pakistan would like to carry on the same momentum in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe starting in Harare today (Tuesday).
Pakistan start as favourites in Tuesday s match and Ahmed Shehzad in all probability will be included in the ODI team. Shehzad starred in the two T20s and Pakistan would very much like him to continue in the same vein.
Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Irfan will get back to the team after being rested in the second T20. Moreover, Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi s form would be key from Pakistan s point of view.
While on the other hand, Zimbabwe stand a chance in the 50-over format considering Pakistan s inconsistency in the one-dayers. The hosts would like to put up an improved performance after a shambolic outing against India last month.
Skipper Brendan Taylor would be the key player for Zimbabwe with Hamilton Masakadza and Vusi Sibanda showing some promise in the two T20s against Pakistan. Despite the turmoil with their cricket board prior to the start of the series, Zimbabwe have not done bad. But after Kyle Jarvis retirement their bowling attack looks a bit weak.
