The government imported 47 percent less urea despite its scarcity in the country.

According to an official report during the last 4 months only 323000 tons of urea was imported. The last year during the same period, 613000 tons of urea was imported.Owing to the dearth of fertilizer, its price has gone up by 115 percent and DAP’s price went up to 50 percent.
