SAPM Tahir Javed, Bahrain’s ambassador discuss ways to expand trade
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister and Minister of State for Investment Tahir Javed met with ambassador of Bahrain Ibrahim Mohammad to discuss bilateral trade.
They agreed to promote investment in Pakistan besides discussing opportunities related to the expansion of bilateral trade.
Tahir Javed said that business-to-business agreements with Bahrain would yield good results and meanwhile, Bahrain’s ambassador expressed his willingness to provide permanent space in the expo center for Pakistani products while also inviting the Pakistani delegation to visit Bahrain.
Tahir Javed said that Bahraini companies will be provided opportunities to invest in Pakistan while mentioning that furniture, carpets, handicrafts and other rare Pakistani products will be advertised in Bahrain Expo.
"Both countries enjoy cordial ties with each other and Bahrain was serious to promote bilateral trade with Pakistan,” stressed Bahraini envoy.
Secretary investment Sohail Rajpoot was also present in the meeting.
