Ogra summary also recommends keeping prices unchanged

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Saturday moved a summary, delineating factors to increase petroleum prices or keep them unchanged for the next fortnight, to the federal government.

The authority recommended an increase of Rs5 per litre in petrol price and Rs8 increase per litre in the price of diesel in accordance with the soaring petroleum prices in the international market. On the other hand, the authority also put forward factors to keep prices unchanged.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will consult PM Shehbaz to take a final decision in this regard. New prices will take effect from April 16 (12am).
