ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday decided to probe a case related to a fake notification regarding the prices of petroleum products.

The incident occurred after a press conference held by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, where a fake notification claiming an increase in the prices of petroleum products was circulated on social media.
This fake notification was an attempt to create a rush at petrol pumps at midnight.
It should be noted that the finance ministry clarified that there was no increase in the prices of petroleum products, and the notification being circulated was fake.
