The KSE-100 index shed 224 points during the week ended on 15-04-11.

The Karachi Stock Exchange started the week with bearish trend, which persisted for four consecutive days.According to experts, rising trend in POL prices in world markets and downward trend in world stocks are the major cause of negative trend in local market. During the week, trade volume also decreased. The KSE 100-index closed at 11,684 on the weekend.
