Rupee devaluation: Toyota increases cars' prices in Pakistan

It made the price revision in the range of PKR 75,000 to PKR 175,000
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Indus Motor Company, the manufacturers of Toyota cars, has increased prices of its vehicles by up to Rs 175,000 due to rise in cost of production resulting from Pakistani rupee depreciation.
Indus Motors, which increased Toyota car prices four times in 2018, has again increased prices significantly following the recent round of Pakistani rupee weakness, which made imports expensive.
It made the price revision in the range of PKR 75,000 to PKR 175,000 at the beginning of the new year 2019.
Here is the current price list of Toyota vehicles:
In October 2018, Indus Motors had last increased prices in the range of PKR 50,000-175,000 for November and December deliveries. From January 2019 onwards, PKR 100,000-350,000 for deliveries from January 2019 onwards.
